This tutorial is about the kind of clipping masks that Ch supports (both by reflecting those created in Ps and getting similar masking results if it is done on the Ch side in the Puppet panel): Clipping masks
Also, the Chloe puppet uses these masks to keep the pupil within the eyeball layer.

Oh great! Thanks Dan. So, should I create the Clipping Mask with my puppet character in Photoshop first, and then do the same in Character Animator? Or can I simply do it in Character Animator? I tried the latter but it didn't seem to work as I thought.
It's probably best to do on the Photoshop side and I think Ch will pick it up. You can do it on the Ch side, but if you're still making further edits in Photoshop, it might revert it when it reconciles other changes.
