We used to do cross platform editing between lightroom and photoshop, but in cc2018, not anymore. raw file can't direct drag in to PScc2018. And after lightroom adjustment, if i want to "edit photo" in PScc2018, will show "can't not recognize the color setting". Everything has to go through Bridge. Right now, the Bridge becomes a really "A**hole".
Is there any way to keep the old fashion way?
Those are simply bugs. They will get fixed eventually.
What settings are you using in Photoshop and Lightroom?.
I ask because I am in the middle of a session right now where I am using Lightroom's "Edit in Photosho"p to carry out pixel editing on a set of images first adjusted in Lightroom. Using Lightroom Classic 7.1 (released this week) and Photoshop CC (v19.0.1 r190). It is working without any issue using the preferences below.
Photoshop colour management policies in Color Settings are set to "preserve embedded profiles"
I don't normal "drag" images across to Photoshop but I just tried it with a CR2 Raw file and it opened Camera Raw 10.1 without issue.
I am using Windows 10 v1709 here
