Missing icons on Mission Control

Would like to know if there is anyone in the community that has experienced the loss of their Mission Control icons from their desktops?

That's the problem I'm having now. One day they are there (as usual) then the next, they are not there? I would appreciate hearing from

anyone with a (or similar) experience, and if you have solved that problem (and how you did it)?

I didn't see any reply as of yet. It appears to me that you are sending me to another (different...) site? If this is your intent, please make it clear to me where I should go. I appreciate your assistance with this issue.
