If anyone has a solution to retrieving or resetting the "permissions password" it will be appreciated. I've never seen a site in my life that would rather lose you as a customer than provide this very normal option.
Yes, that would be ridiculous if it were true. The "permissions password" is the password needed to change security in a single PDF. It doesn't affect opening any file, or changing the security in any other file, or running any app. If you BELIEVE that your permissions password is stopping you running "Adobe" whatever that is, please share the exact message and situation. Also, what you mean by "Adobe".
