Converted Word to PDF Files will only save as Chrome HTML Documents

Converted Word to PDF Files will only save as Chrome HTML Documents to my computer. Is there a way to save them as actual PDF files once they are converted? I often have to upload PDF files to databases which is why I purchased the PDF Pack in the first place - to convert Word documents to PDF Files so they could be accepted by databases.

Could you please confirm if you are converting .doc file in Adobe Reader desktop application or in MS Word? Have you tried converting Word file to PDF in a web browser using this link: https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf, does that work?
