Hi,

I have replaced my old vista computer with new windows 10 Home computer recently. My new computer detected my camera Canon EOS 5D. I can see it under My Computer as driver and also can see under Device Manager. However, my camera can not be connected with Adobe Lightroom CC.

Camera can not be tethered with program.

Model: Canon EOS 5D

Communication: PTP

Please advise me.

Thank you,

David

That particular camera model has been supported for a long long time. Please confirm the exact version of Lightroom installed on your computer. "The latest version" doesn't tell anything.

Hi,

Lightroom Classic version: 7.1 [1148620]

and I received an email from Canon said "Windows 10 does not have compatibility with our software and your camera model"

Seems they don't support any more.

Thank you

If your Windows 'detects' your camera can you copy files (photos) from it to a location on your Windows drive(s) then Add them to your Lr CC (cloud based) ecosystem?
