HI - I just subscribed to Creative Cloud (Photography bundle) and have been doing my first playing-around today. I was previously a Photoshop Elements (and occasionally Photoshop CS6) user. Here's my question: I've noticed that when I select the "Edit in Photoshop" option in Lightroom CC (not Classic) for a JPEG image, when it opens in Photoshop CC the image seems to have been converted to a TIFF file. Why is this happening? And what are the consequences of the image format being changed (one thing I noticed is that the resolution seems to have gone from 300 DPI to 240 DPI ....). Thanks for your help.
