    Rollover with Popup?

I'm using Fireworks CS3. I have a button to which I've assigned a popup menu. I've also added a rollover to the button, but once you move your cursor from the button onto the popup menu, the button returns to the normal state. Is there any way to have the button stay in the down state while the cursor is navigating the popup menu? Thanks for your help.

I am also in search for this answer. When I make a slice I make it rollover (the slice I also have a hot spot for the dropdown menu) but when I go to the dropdown menu categories the slice image thats a rollover goes back to its normal state. I got it to stay at its rollover image but then it doesn't go back when I get out of the dropdown menu.

Rollovers work with two JavaScript functions: onMouseOver and onMouseOut. When the mouse rolls over, one action occurs (changing the image to the rollover state). When the mouse moves off, another action occurs (changing the image back to the original state).

If you're using rollovers provided by Fireworks or Dreamweaver, then no, the top menu item won't stay highlighted because the mouse can only be over one item at a time. These menu systems are very basic.
