Hey I added a picture about the issue..
I opened a file that I want to edit in PS but this is the background I see...
is it poosible to remove it ?? I saw that after I`m exporting this its become white again, but totally white... its kind of a grey white.. I mean, not like the normal its should be...
thanks for any help !
The checkerboard indicates a transparent area. In many cases this is normal.
So that we have a better idea, give us a screenshot of your work-space with the your document area visible and the Layers Panel open.
You can turn off the visibility of the grid with Edit > Preferences > Transparency and Gamut. In the Transparency Settings section, set Grid Size to "None".
As Gene said, could you post a screenshot with the layers panel?
Transparency indication is useful when you need it, so I'd be more inclined to use a layer filled with white at the bottom of the stack.
