doing and addition and division in the same field

Hi,

I am trying to do and addition of two fields and then divide by another field. My formula of text1 + text2 / text3 is not working, any suggestions ? Thank you.

if you are using the simplified field notation then I'd suggest putting parentheses around the addition.

(text1 + text2) / text3

You also need to make sure you are not dividing by zero or a very small or very large value.
