Hi,

I have successfully prepared an Action - this action works on its own.  But I want to create a Droplet in order to easily be able to apply the Action to other files without having to open up, save as, then close each of the files.

But, despite reading about Droplets, I cannot seem to get the Droplet I create to work.

I always get the warning "cannot communicate with Photoshop"

Please help!!

Thanks so much for your replies.

I looked at previous threads regarding Windows updates and Admin rights.

But I couldn't see a way through this.

In the end Adobe support said that this issue requires a manual clean up of photoshop which involves uninstalling photoshop and then manually deleting Photoshop related system files folders and registries.  And then reinstalling of course.

The issue is now resolved! (Droplet works, and is lightning quick!!)

There habe been problems reported with droplets caused by some Windows updates.

JJMack is right - but sometimes I noticed some problems when I've worked without Admin rights on not mine machine
