AE CS6 Effects and Presets windows greyout in Mac

Good day.

I can't select/click any effects and presets in Effects and Presets windows. It is greyed out.

I have initially solved this problem by recreating a new account. But problem reoccur again using new account.

Last option i have not tried is to reinstall the application.

Correct term: Can't click drop-down in any Effects and Presets folder.

Would you try to create a simple comp like a single solid image only on the timeline and apply any effects?

Already tried it.

Even simple composition with single solid image won't work.

I just noticed that I can select/click any effects/presets when i selected alphabetical option to view effects and presets windows.

But when I choose Category option, can't even click any folder to view effects/presets under any category.

Double-check your AE CS 6 version in the About dropdown.  If it is not at least version 11.0.4, you need to update.

No guarantees if it will solve your problem if if you have a new operating system.

I have already updated AE CS6 version to 11.0.4 but still problem exist.

I have decided to recreate another account once again.

So far issue does not arise.

I will let you know once issue occured again.
