Double file size if compiled in Flex Builder 3 instead of 2!

We were updating a project that we had originally done in Flex Builder 2. The file size of the compiled swf was 271k. Well, we had to make some updates to it, and used Flex Builder 3. When compiled in 3 the file size was 478k after our changes. Thinking something was wrong, I made a copy of the project. Opened it with Flex2, compiled it and the file size went down to 276k. That's a difference of almost 50%. Compiling the exact same project. Any idea what might cause this? Anyone else having results like this?

Flex builder 3 is different than Flex builder 2 in that where FB2 would produce both a debug and a production version of the swf FB3 only does one at a time. You may be used to seeing something like project.swf and project_debug.swf. With FB3 you will only see project.swf, and by default it is the debug version.

To get the file you expect export a release build. You will find that option in the Project tab of your menu bar.
