HTML5 Conversion...not located in any menu options.

Hello!

I completed a project, and then I wanted to convert it to an HTML5 document. It's not located under Commands, and it's also not under the File menu either. I'm not sure what's going on. I checked the other discussions here, and those were the two options I found. I also found one that linked to the official page about doing the conversion, that link didn't work either...

If anyone could help, that would be awesome.

Thanks!

The convert to other document formats was added just over 4 years ago. If the one you're using is older than that it won't be in there. If it's more recent the menu item may have different names. At first it was like in this article:

Converting ActionScript 3 FLA’s to HTML5 canvas FLA’s in Flash Pro CC | Hemanth Kumar R

then later it became Convert to Other Document Formats, and you would be shown a dialog to choose what format you wanted.

There is a way to proceed without needing that menu item. Y

Which version of Animate are you using? If it's recent, do you not see File/Convert To...?

It's recent, but it's also not animate.....I figured out that Animate is the only Adobe CC piece of software that doesn't work on Win7 32bit. I needed 64 for that. I didn't realize it....and turns out that it's not available on the Flash "version".

Thanks for your reply!

There is a way to proceed without needing that menu item. You could copy the layers from the AS3 FLA, create a new HTML5 Canvas FLA, and paste the layers in.
