Unable to sync Lightroom Classic CC collection to LR mobile

I have Lightroom Classic CC version 7.1 on my desktop. I would like to sync some of my Collections to my LR mobile. However, in my Identity Plate, I get the message "waiting for connection" and in my Collections panel, there is no checkbox on the left side of the name of the collection which can enable synching. Pls advise what I should do. Thanks!

Try pausing sync from the Identity Plate

Sign-out from the Help menu (where you see your email address)

Quit Lightroom

Re-start your Mac

Re-Launch Lightroom and sign-in again.

Ensure you are trying to sync an ordinary collection; not a smart collection.

From the menu go to:

Edit >> Preferences >> Lightroom Sync (tab) Windows

Or Lightroom >> Preferences >> Lightroom Sync (tab) Mac

Is there any sync info or pending uploads?

On the tab mentioned by you, it shows 0 sync activity - 0 uploading, 0 downloading, 0 pending.

What should I do now?
