I've been using Photoshop and Lightroom on my Dell laptop with Windows 8 for several years without any problems when I'm been editiing my pictures in raw-format.
However, after an update to Windows 10 I'm having trouble with both Potoshop and Lightroom. There is no problem if I'm editing a picture in jpg but both programs crashes when I'm about to edit a picture in raw-format. I can import the picture but when I'm about to use any tools or Camera Raw, both programs stop working and I have to force a closure of the programs.
I have updated both the programs and the Creative cloud-app but I am still experiencing the same problem.
Any suggestions of how I can solve this?
reset your preferences -
if that fails:
uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html
then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.
if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
