adg.columns = newColumnsArray;
adg.columns returns the columns in AdvancedDatagrid.
i need columns in particular group.. i need something like by clicking on group header i want to add columns to that group at runtime..
Is its possible ???

i got three AdvancedDatagridColumnGroup in the grid..
by clicking on the header of the group need to add new column to it.
How to detect that particular AdvancedDatagridColumnGroup got clicked.. there is no indexing for AdvancedDatagridColumnGroups.. How to identify the groups in AdvancedDatagridColumnGroup?
well, i am not very good with events but i suppose that by adding eventListeners to all of your AdvancedDatagridColumnGroup you can see wich one has been clicked (and Flex propably has already this kind of event).
In event, you have two properties : target and currentTarget. Maybe take a look at them?
ps: Apparently, there is only 2 events with AdvancedDatagrisColumnGroup. try to use the "activate" event.
