Problems activating Captivate

I’m having trouble activating Captivate. We have a volume license. I install it on a machine and after the install it launched and asked for the serial number. I put it in and it got the green check that it worked. I got interrupted and had to hit quit before I could finish. So, when I went back in and it asked for the serial number again. I put in the same number but this time it gave me the red x and wouldn’t accept it. It happened on another machine as well. Any ideas?

I would deactivate the key and uninstall the software and then do a clean install. See if that helps.
