I've branched your post to a new thread.
To install the CC apps on a different drive than C you have to make the change in the Creative Cloud Desktop App in the Preference section.
If you already have the apps installed you have to uninstall them, make the change in the CC DTA and then reinstall.
The screen shot above is from an older version of the CC DTA but it is the same for the newest version.
And there is no "Install to" option on the installer I just downloaded
Have deleted original program and downloaded installer Lightroom_Set-Up again.
It doesn't give me an option as to where to install it.
After I let it run it just starts!
The screen shot I posted and wrote about is for the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
If you are using LR CC, the Cloud Centric version of LR, you are posting in the wrong forum.
In any event you can install LR CC from the CC DTA and before you install you can change the install drive and folder in the CC DTA as I have pointed out in my other post. You do that in the Preferences of the CC DTA. Not in whatever installer you have downloaded.
The CC DTA needs to be installed first and that will install to the C drive. No way to stop or change that.
I am trying to get the desktop version which I believe is
Lightroom Classic CC. This is the option on the page with all the apps. Says it is "desktop-focused photo editing".
I download that installer and, after I give my password, it just starts.
No other option.
Where do I find CC DTA?
Thanks so much!
Adobe should look at the ambiguity of their labeling.
