You should have been able to delete the whole thread, yourself, since you were the one who created it.  Even with a few replies, you should still be able to delete the whole thing.  The delete button _should_ be up top on the right hand side.

Well that is were l thought it should be but all l have under actions is view as pdf and something relating to my profile, nothing like the list you showed, so not sure whats happening there...............maybe a jive issue.

I'm not a moderator, but I have delete buttons for all threads that I start.  osgood_ should have that, too, especially seeing as I'm level 4 and osgood_ is level 8.

Yes, go ahead Nancy delete if possible please, I have limited options under actions, certainly no delete button.

I saw the attachment but I only get the last 2 options under Actions - Edit, Move, Delete are missing. It's probably a browser or jive problem.

I dont get any 'action' listed  at all in Safari brower!

Oh wait I wasn't signed in but when I am signed in I still only get :

Remove from profile

Same in Google Chrome - Delete, Move, Edit aren't there.

Move is moderators only.

Edit and delete you can only do if no one has replied.

I've been seeing Delete and Move options (EDIT: ON MY THREADS ONLY) for years.

The only way to test is if you try to move the discussion.

At one point I had access to the administration section a couple of years ago, then it was removed, (jive glitches!).

Apparently not.  I can only see the move/delete links on threads that I start.

But therein lies my confusion.  If _I_ can see them on threads that I start and I'm Level 4, why can't osgood_ see those links on threads that osgood_ starts???  osgood_ is Level 8.

I'm pretty sure those levels don't really mean anything from a "user-privilege within the software" point of view.

As far as I've ever seen, they're just points-based and don't give you anything but an extra dot on your green fund-raiser drive progress icon.

Okay.. I assumed that it actually provided users with additional rights or resources the higher you went.

But, regardless, if I can see move/delete links on threads that I start, so should osgood_.  Right?

One possibility (that would go hand in hand with all the moderation triggering) he may be in some kind of Jive software penalty box from when they took away the MVP status a while back.

Preran​ might be able to find the answer to that.

Jive is like Google, no one knows how it works, least of all the jive engineers and Adobe

Apologize for jumping late into the discussion. Did you try a different browser? All users should be able to delete posts that they have created.
