Very clever Terri. Now you have done that, I can see the outline of a monitor lizard. You'd need to add a long flicking tongue (if the tongue doesn't flick, try resetting Preferences) and that ridiculous jeep from Jurassic Park with above lizard chasing them. Maybe a speech bubble saying "Ermmmmm beans, my favourite food. Human beans'. Now I am thinking of that dreadful joke about tortoises and crunchy meat pies.

I don't know why my images come out so big on this forum. Here's a smaller one.
Ivanka would steal that idea in a heartbeat for a new line in designer footwear, and have it mass produced by children in Chinese sweat shops. Being slightly more serious, and no offense Nancy, but what sort of mind goes from that driftwood to a Daliesque foot? If you ever write a book about your dreams Nancy, I want to read it .

Nancy - that shoe is very, very clever. Jimmy Choo will be calling you later today
Jodi - your creature is very well made, the patterning in the wood is just right and the straw in his mouth is a great touch. I love it !

Jodi_Frye Feb 17, 2018 2:46 AM (in response to davescm)Thanks so much Dave. The moment I saw the driftwood image I spotted that face there in center bottom. I couldn't see anything else after that !! I originally had his whole body with legs but I wasn't feeling it.

Terri Stevens Feb 17, 2018 5:21 AM (in response to Jodi_Frye)Really nice Jodi. I think you must have been educated at the Salvador Dali School of Modern Art. He's my favourite 20th century painter far more interesting than Picasso. I particularly like the seagull on his arm. I don't know if you realise it but your very good with color.

26. Re: Something for the weekend - Part 7 - Driftwood
Terri Stevens Feb 17, 2018 5:44 AM (in response to davescm)It's funny when you stare at things what you see. Your River Monster 'Nessie' has a head very like an otter or coypu. We used to have a big population of Coypus on the rivers here in Norfolk-they aren't indigenous to the UK , but escaped from fur farms over decades and just established wild colonies. Unfortunately, they fed on large fish and anglers hated them and the government took the view coypus can't vote so killed them all off

Terri Stevens Feb 17, 2018 10:29 AM (in response to davescm)I didn't think Dave's challenge would be very successful this week as it's not in the least bit easy, but it's turning into one of the most successful yet-a reflection of the very talented people who come here. If your just looking, don't be shy give it a go, we would love to see what you can do. The prize this week is Dave's luxury home in Monaco where he, Stormy Daniels and Ivanka Trump sit by the swimming pool talking about Photoshop for sixteen hours a day.
