Oh, one more thing. It may be worth mentioning this because some people don't know and end up in trouble; sorry if it's not relevant.

Google (and others) have strict copyright on all their maps and photography. If you were planning to use the JPEG on your web site, that may not be a good idea, it could result in a takedown notice (where your site is closed down). Google offer various licensed ways of including their content on your site.

Not really. Start Photoshop. Open the PDF. Choose the resolution. Save a JPEG. Choose the quality.
