If PS was one of the three apps you updated, you probably need to create a new sidebar icon to point to the new app. The icon you have is pointing to an older version that you deleted (by default, unless you chose not to.)
Try opening from the Applications folder and putting a new shortcut in the Dock and / or Sidebar.
If it's not in the Applications folder, then it isn't installed.
More info : I now get a message when trying to open Ps ,
COULD NOT INITIALIZE PS BECAUSE UNEXPECTED END-OF-FILE WAS ENCOUNTERED
does this mean download was interrupted or incomplete?
yes, PS was in applications folder. keep getting the messenger i stated in my second post about "END-OF-FILE" was encountered. could not initialize. Uninstalled, then re installed, still same message .I did reinstall the CC okay and everything in my plan , and PS2018 shows up in my applications folder with all the files and plug ins.... just won't open...Help
can some one guide me as to what to do next to restore or get PS to open on my Mac?
