With one of the last photoshop CC 2018 updates I cannot use - 80% of times - any advanced object.
When I try to resize it and click to open it every object became a colorful image (example attached) that obviously don't let me use it.

This happen with differente files and different advanced objects, both images and icons, on different displays.

My Mac is High sierra 10.13.3 system.

Anyone with the same problem?

What do you mean by »advanced objects« exactly?

Does turning off »Use Graphics Processor« in the Performance Preferences (Photoshop > Preferences > Performance > Graphic Processor Settings) and restarting Photoshop have any bearing on the issue?

What have you done for trouble-shooting so far?

Restoring Preferences after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved might be a good starting point:

It looks a bit like the png-issue that can be remedied by turning off

Preferences > Plug-Ins > Allow Extensions …

Preferences > Plug-Ins > Load Extension Panels

and restarting Photoshop.
