For a university project I am creating a PhoneGap app. Essentially I want to create a visual contact list to help people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. So I want to take a photo of a person and then display that photo in a list with other photos and label them: Mum/Dad/Brother/Teacher/Friend etc.
I'm just curious if this is possible with phonegap. Can I store the images taken and if so where do I store them?
In the early stages of the project and just want to get an idea if this is feasible. Should also mention I have no experience with phonegap but am familiar with HTML CSS and JS.
Yes, all that is possible with Phonegap. You will need Camera plugin for taking the pictures. You can store the image path returned by the Camera plugin in localStorage or a local website. Might be recommended to use File plugin to copy the photos to a more permanent location.
About how, make sure you read the Camera and File plugin docs.
