Can you please explain what it is you're trying to do in more detail, also what version of Photoshop and Operating System you have.

The more info you supply the easier it is for someone to help, also a bigger screenshot would be better including the layers panel

Why would you copy a 4 page in Photoshop? You mean scan a page or what? Like Ged said, some more details could not harm...

No mystery here. The printer needs an empty margin on the A4 paper you're printing on, for paper transport and other mechanical reasons. So, the A4 document will be cropped by the same amount, or reduced in size.

A very few A4 printers can print borderless to the full paper size, but in that case you have to enable that function in the printer driver.

Why not import the Photoshop file in InDesign and print it from InDesign? A Layout software has no problem to handle A 4.

It's not as if Photoshop has any problems handling A4 either

The way I understand the OP, she wants to print an A4 page 1:1, at full size. And for that she will either need to print borderless, if the printer can do that, or use a large format (A3) printer and cut.

No, those sizes won't mean anything to you Americans A4 is 210 mm wide and 297 mm high, and no, I don't know how many fractional inches that translates to...

I know it's humour, Dag, but enter "A4 paper size" into Google and  we get 8.3" x11.7" But we call it A4 and set the printer to A4, no "metric" or "customary" knowledge needed.

You can also get a 500 sheet package from Amazon if you are in the US and need it for some reason.

yes thats the sice 210x297. But as you said, the size on photoshop is to big. so it gets an ugly white border.

Read post #5 again!

Can your printer print borderless? That's the question. The printer, not Photoshop.
