I have been using Acrobat in various incarnations for years and years. NEVER have I had such an issue.
This software has been working fine for as long as I can remember but 2 or 3 days ago, I started experiencing this 'Sign In for trial version' nonsense.
I am a busy person who works for themselves, trying to get my work done and cannot afford the downtime trying to figure out how to make this work. I have no real interest in having a Creative Cloud account but have signed up non-the-less.
Can someone point me in the right direction so that I may correct and move on and do what I do.
Did you install ANY OTHER Creative Cloud app such as Photoshop? What version of Acrobat is now running (please check About from the Help menu)?
