Random 3 to 5 copies

Whenever i save a psd file it saves a 3 to 5 copies of it randomly even though they have a big sizes and im low on disk

How and where is it saving the files? How are you saving - just saving or doing a save as??

Without actual ystem info and details about your files nobody can tell you much. in a way you presumably already answered your own question - you are low on drive space and your operating system is creating a ton of temporary files to even be able to keep functioning. Only cleaning up or getting a larger drive will improve the situation.
