LR doesn't recognize my media card??

I went to download my photos from my compact flash card and I keep getting the error message:  "the disk you inserted is not readable by this computer."  I am shooting Canon Raw files and have downloaded photos many times from this disk.  I don't think the disk is corrupted??

Any thoughts?

This is usually a hardware problem somewhere. Bad card reader, bad card, bad USB connection, etc. Can you try connecting with different hardware?

What is your evidence to make such a statement?

Okay, I tried another card reader and it worked fine.  Problem solved.  Thanks
