When trying to open a Imacon 3F file (from an Imacon scanner), Photoshop says it cannot open this file. In the dialog box, the correct file type (Imacon 3F) has been selected. Photoshop loads the plugin with no errors.
It works flawlessly in Photoshop CC 2017.
I’m running macOS Sierra 10.12.6, Photoshop CC 2018 19.1.1 and Imacon plugin version 1.40.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to solve this?

JJMack, thank you for your reply.
The plugin works fine in the previous version of Photoshop (CC 2017). I've been using the plugin the last three years, in no issues until I recently updated to CC 2018. So currently I have two versions of Photoshop installed , CC2018 and CC2017. Both versions loads the plugin without any errors, verified using Photoshops System Info, but 2018 will not read any .fff files.
It's a file-format plugin for reading and saving Imacon 3F (.fff) files, since these files isn't natively supported by Photoshop – they are from an Imacon/Flextight scanner (/the newest models are now from Hasselblad).
The issue you link to mentioning CC 2015 is an issue with windows, where he was attempting to use a 32-bit version of the plugin with a 64-bit version of Photoshop. The issue mentioning CC 2018 is my own post on that other forum.

If anyone is interested, Hasselblad Support have reproduced the issue, and have reported it to Adobe.

Rename the files with the .tiff extension instead of .fff and they will open in Photoshop.
