Up until Friday, I could scan and email pdf's. I could open a pdf and hit the email command and my outlook would open immediately and attach it. Yesterday for whatever reason, it takes it forever to attach it and it goes between not responding and frozen gray for anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes. What has caused this?

- Acrobat/Reader version
- Is it only for scanned documents
- how did you scan the file

Not just scanned documents. I can open previously saved pdf files and try to email them and it goes to not responding for a few minutes before it attaches it to an email.
I scan them using HP Scan, have so for the last 5 years. Everything worked up until Monday morning

When you do not use the "Send file..." option, but attach manually, does that work fine?

yes, only when trying to email it either straight from the pdf file or from the scanner. have tried this on three different scanners to make sure that wasn't the issue, reinstalled Microsoft office also.

the workflow is scan to PDF->e-mail an not scan to pdf->open in acrobat->e-mail ​?
