I saw a youtube video where they turned a photo into a 3d printed relief. They showed the process but never said how to get there. The only clue I got was the title PortraitRelief in the upper left corner of the app. Can anyone help me find this really cool feature? Thanks

If I am understanding you correctly, then you need to start with the right image for best results.  Lots of contrast and detail like lined faces.

Then it is as simple as Filter > Stylize > Emboss

So this

Becomes this.

Remember that Height is the pixel off-set, so keep this low to avoid too obvious halos

If you want to emulate the colouring I saw images I Googled, then Hue/Saturation with Colorize checked
