    Using data returned from php/mysql

I am using some code I found on the net to use an httpservice to get data via php from a MySQL database. It works fine as is, getting the data and assigning it to an Array Colllection and then displaying that it a datagrid.

However, I dont want to use a datagrid in this app; I want to display the actual data fields for separate records in Text field objects. For example, a text field labeled "Employee 1" should show the first employee row in the data, the "name" entry. When I have worked with XML in the past, I could use datalist[0].@name, but not sure how to do it in this case. Every time I try to trace the data I get [object, object].
