Unable to copy large amount of text

I am working on an assignment for college and have copied a large amount of text from another part of the assignment but when I click on the pasted text half of it disappears, Anyone know why? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Does this happen with only large chunks of text, or does it happen with just a few pieces of content as well? Let us know.

Also, I am assuming that you are copying from one XD file to another.

Yes it was when copying a large amount of text that it only happened. I tried copying and pasting individual sections of the text instead and it worked but with all the text copied and pasted when editing it half of it disappears.
