PP 2018 Crashes when creating or loading a sequence

My seat of Premiere Pro 2018 now crashes whenever I create or load a sequence. This has only started happening recently (since the last update?)

This is on a 2013 MacPro running OSX 10.12.6

I don't have any issues with the same cut of software running on my 2016 MBP running the same OS

Should I just delete and reinstall PP or is there something else a foot?

Problem solved. Thankyou

Switched the renderer to CUDA and the system stopped crashing.

Hi Graham,

Which GPU you have on the MacPro?

Try these steps: open your project, choose File > Project settings > General & select MPE Software Only Mode under the video renderer. Let us know if that helps.

Thanks,

I use an external Sonnet eGPU crate with an Nvidia Titan XP card.

No issues with AE, Resolve or AVID
