    Security Error

      I have a Flex App that works locally using the flex builder run. The Sandbox type local is localTrusted. If I put it on the server and access it Sandbox type is remote. I ran a packet sniffer and I see the Flash Player access my crossdomain.xml at the root of the server I'm trying to access. I also see the crossdomain.xml return in the packets. This means it actually got to the player and then it still threw this security error. This is a production problem I have not yet resolved and has been a total pain in the *** :) It worked in system test because the two servers are on the same physical machine in system test, but in production they are not.

          The latest Flas Player versions have additional requirements. You crossdomain file should look something like this below. See the security whitepapers for more info.
          <?xml version="1.0"?>
          <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM
          " http://www.adobe.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">

          <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" />
          <site-control permitted-cross-domain-policies="all"/>
          <allow-access-from domain="*"/>
