I just downloaded Photoshop and Premiere Elements 2018 successfully: 1) can I uninstall my Photoshop version 10 without messing over any files for 2018; 2) do I need both shortcuts on my desktop as it looks like they both result in the similar Welcome screen; 3)what are the PSE 2018 and PRE 2018 folders - do they have to be on the desktop

Tommym69088493 if you are no longer going to use Photoshop Elements 10 then you are welcome to uninstall the software.  You can use the Programs and Features Control panel to remove your current installation of Photoshop Elements 10.  For more details see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028054/windows-repair-or-remove-programs-in-windows-10 .

Please update this discussion if you have any questions or encounter any errors in the process.
