1. Re: Problème de poids des documents/Photoshop
JJMack Mar 27, 2018 12:30 PM (in response to nathalie4541)1 person found this helpfulThe size in memory depends one the number of pixels you have and RGB color depth. Each pixel required 8byted of ram for each RGB 8bit pixels 8bits for red 8 for green and 8 for blue. 6 Bytes for each 16bit color pixel. So a 20MP camera 8bit image would 60MB in Ram if RAW and converted to 16bit RGB color 120MB uncompressed in RAM. It is how it works it is not a problem

nathalie4541 Mar 27, 2018 1:21 PM (in response to JJMack)Thanks a lot for your answer. But lately I did a short "photo montage"
with that 5 Mo image and I ended with a more than 1 Go document.

JJMack Mar 27, 2018 9:18 PM (in response to nathalie4541)How big is your montage canvas and how many pixels layers do you have in your document do the math. 10 120MB layers totals up to 1.2GB. 8bit would be 1/2GB.

exported files (png, jpg).
