Couldn't find much info on that error but I found this, seems to be related to the OS security settings

I had found that post and the anywhere preferences thing only seems to work on one file - it is ridiculous that I would need to do it on every jpg and eps when I have never had to do that in the past - not even on a PC :-)
And the other suggestion about metadata is irrelevant as it is happening on images I have created myself so nothing malicious there.
I did test both .ai and .psd files and no issues here - so it is just non native files... but again - only since Mondays update.

I haven't come across anyone else reporting the issue, Photoshop CC2018 version 19.1.2 was released on the 12th of March so I'm pretty sure if it was a bug in that release we would have heard something about it before now
Yeah I know - and from that forum - people have been having this issue since at least August - so who knows??? Tomorrow maybe reinstall. Again thanks for trying.
