why csv data expression construction so strange?

now is:

comp("xxxxx").layer("xxxx.csv")("Data")("Outline")("a")("a 1")

but why not :

comp("xxxxx").layer("xxxx.csv").("Data")("Outline")("a")("a 1")

the difference is the "." between csv and data

Because it is all one ugly big hack. All this dynamic data stuff is just yet another plugged on thing and the data itself is not a property stream, anyway.
