I've been using Acrobat since it was created and when it was just Reader, seriously. The past few releases with CC have been quite frankly, unacceptable, in terms of speed of use - opening files, viewing files, freezing and more freezing... What's going on? Please fix it. Offer options to increase speed of use - anything....Thank you.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused, as per the description above, Acrobat Pro is freezing and crashing, Is that correct?
Please check for any pending updates of Acrobat from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates.
Try resetting the Acrobat preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the preferences, refer to How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default. and see if this brings any difference.
If the issue persists, please use Acrobat cleaner tool to remove Acrobat Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs
Reboot the machine and install Acrobat back from Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, 2017, XI, or X
