          Try installing the latest update 19.1.3.  I saw several crashes like your in 19.1.2 have not had any yet in  19.1.3

          My access violations were not exactly like yours I did not find any symbolname with the same address as the violation I just let the report be sent to Adobe. No Windows crash reports were generated for those crashes.

          <crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" instruction="0x00007FFC624CE889">

          <stackStatement index="0" address="0x00007FFC624CE889" symbolname="DrvValidateVersion"/>

              I have the same issue as well. Started yesterday on 9th April 2018.

              So then I tried updating the software but that hasn't helped. I was also going to try uninstalling and reinstalling but from your comments that doesn't work either :-( Please let me knof if you work out a solution.

              Thanks,

              Frankie

                after too many tries to make it work, looked for days all around the internet.
                I've came to a conclusion that my problem was not caused by Photoshop . the problem was a program I purchased to make my iPad pro a secondary monitor, the program/app is called duet display.
                now that I uninstalled it from my computer Photoshop runs perfectly.
                so if you have a program of this kind , try this fix.

                    Hi there,

                    Photoshop is very unstable since the latest update: 19.1.3 release. I work on a mac with the lastest OS, did not have any problem with previous versions. The app gets randomly slow and some menus are unresponsive or blank. Please fix this ASAP, I have lost several hours of production work already, this is unacceptable.

                      Hi All

                      Quite new to the forum thing but thought it's better to share issues so that they can be shared and solved quicker.

                      I'm having similar issues with Lightroom, Photoshop & Premiere Pro since the last update (April 4th, 2018).

                      To give you background on my setup, I'm using a 2017 Macbook Pro 15inch with the 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, and the graphics card is a Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory (I have no idea what the last bit means, but ok).

                      Lightroom: After updating to the latest version of LR Classic, the brush tools and switching from module to module would be laggy. Even mouse movements within LR were very slow and laggy.

                      Photoshop: When exporting an image from LR to work on in PS, I would do work on it and then go to exit and save the image as a TIF back into LR. PS would end up hanging on 10% in the saving status and just end up freezing, so I would be forced to force quit.

                      Premiere Pro: It's taking ages for my project to load upon start up, and all of my media files are re-reading and taking about 30-40minutes to do so.

                      I've read within LR, to turn off the GPU enabling. Have done so, and it's still glitchy. I've even gone back to the previous version of LR, PS and PP, and it's still freezing at random points through my workflow.

                      I've read that Macs and Adobe aren't as amazing as other setups, but surely it can't be this terrible.

                      Any help or info would be much appreciated.

                        Hi Rakesh,

                        I managed to sort my problem with our iT guys who said it kept crashing due to windows and certain other programs needing an update. it's working perfectly again now!  Hope this helps! :-)

                          Hi Rakesh,

                          I have downgraded Photoshop to the 2017 v. Hope Adobe address all the problems the new version has!

                            I had the same issue with Duet Display as you did.  I uninstalled duet and now Photoshop CC 2018 no longer crashes.  I asked a question on the  DUET web site as to whether they had received any other similar complaints.  Applications such as DUET are great until they start impacting other apps.

                              Got exactly the same problem and contacted Duet for help. They requestet some log files, I'll keep you up to date.

                              Photoshop works again right after uninstalling it.

                                    The only crash report posted here look like looks like Adobe ScriptingSupport Plug-in has a problem. The OP never state when Photoshop crashes or what they were doing with Photoshop when it crashes.  Other posted they have exactly the same problem but did not post a crash report that back up their statement.

                                    The crash that was  posted  show the violation instruction address

                                    <crash exception="EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" instruction="0x00007FFC624CE889">

                                    Which is within ScriptingSupport.8li

                                    <binaryImage start="0x00007FFC62E50000" end="0x00007FFC635FD000" path="adobe\ScriptingSupport.8li"/>

                                    If Photoshop crashes we need the details in the crash report and what you were doing with Photoshop when it crashed.
