lightroom wont download to macbook air

I previously had lightroom 4 added on to my computer.  Somehow i stopped paying for it and it still let me use lightroom.  Now I am trying to download a preset I bought from someone but it wont let me download it to lightroom.  I tried downloading lightroom again but now it says my computer isn't up to date.  Is there something I can do so that I can download this new lightroom cc? I have a macbook air

Your Mac probably is not at the required operating system level. System requirements are:

          • Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support*
          • Mac OS X v10.11 (El Capitan), macOS v10.12 (Sierra), or macOS v10.13 (High Sierra)**
          • 4 GB of RAM (12 GB recommended)
          • 1024 x 768 display
          • 2 GB of available hard-disk space for program installation (cannot install on a volume that uses a case-sensitive file system or on removable flash storage devices).
          • Internet connection and registration are necessary for required software activation, validation of subscriptions, and access to online services.†

P.S. the current version of Lightroom is called Lightroom Classic. Lightroom CC is a completely new program that stores all your images in the cloud. That might or might not be what you want. Lightroom Classic is most similar to Lightroom 4. Both of these programs require a monthly payment. The last version of Lightroom that could be gotten by buying it instead of subscribing was Lightroom 6. Lightroom 4 was always just a buy program. You could never subscribe to it.
