    Conditional size for a form object

      I want to make a checkbox to allow the user to decide the size of a chart.

      I'm trying to use an "If" statement the way I would in any other software language, but I'm getting a syntax error:

      height="{if ({checkBox1.selected} then "3500" else "98%")}"

      by which I'm trying to say, if {checkBox1.selected} = True, then make the height 3500, else make it 98%.

      but it's giving me an error "ElementType mx:BarChart" must be followed by either attribute specificatoins, ">" or "/>"

      but the line does end this way.

      ... how do you do this in Flex?
