CC 2018 Photoshop - Default Search Location?

I have a few users, who are on Mac, and have the latest Adobe CC suite installed.

When a user goes to open a file to work on, that exists, they can click on the network connected drive and search for a file.

Once the search kicks off, it sets the search location to “this mac” rather than “Art Share” which is the mapped network drive.

Is there a way to force it to search the mapped network drive by default?

Any tips or suggestions would be very appreciated!

do the search from within bridge. First navigate to your location, than do the search.

Appreciate the suggestion.

The end user is accustom to searching through the app with file-open.

Another alternative is simply searching through finder.

Hope there's some others out there who use this same workflow the user does.
