Hey group.

Im using the above mentioned PS version and i get constant Crashes when using different selection tools like quick selection, lasso and pen etc. This is the crash report. This is happening on my PC at work which imho is way outdated. The specs are as follows- AMD A6-3500 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 2.10Ghz and 8GB of RAM. Im using the 2017 version on my home PC and i have no problems. So what could the problem be? What does the crash report mean?

Thanks in advance !

Hi

Have you tried updating Photoshop to the latest version 19.1.3

You could try resetting Photoshop preferences

Reset Pref.jpg

Failing the above try re-installing PS using the Adobe cleaner tool

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

What does the crash report mean?

Not much. It crashes in PS itself, so it's not really a driver issue and your "outdated" PC likely has nothing to do with it per se. It's really an implementation issue. Do the usual - update your graphics drivers, tweak the hardware acceleration settings in the prefs.
