So this is a Mac platform issue. Since the latest upgrade to 7.3, photos taken with my iPhone are now automatically being imported into my Lightroom classic catalog. This never happened before...
Not that it's a terrible problem but I'm at a loss as to which mechanism is responsible for this. I do have Lightroom CC installed on both my iMac and iPhone but have not specified any changes in auto import settings on either platform since the upgrade.
To be clear this didn't start with the introduction of Lightroom CC, only after the most recent upgrade.
Any idea how this happens?
It's a setting in Lightroom on your iPhone. Tap on the Lr icon, then tap on General. Switch off 'Auto Add Photos'.
Thanks so much for that piece of information! Again, not a huge problem but it does help to keep my personal photos separate from my professional ones.
I guess the upgrade must have somehow toggled that option to "On".
