Can I export code from DW to be used in other software?

Can a website created using Dreamweaver be exported then imported into another software to be supported there?

Dreamweaver works directly with the html, css and javascript files of a website, there's nothing to export.

If the other software can open typical website files, it will open DW created files just fine.

Code is code.  It can be opened in any code editor.   However proprietary features such as Dreamweaver Templates (DWT files) and Library Items won't work outside Dreamweaver.

              What the others said.

Web code (HTML, CSS) is plain text which you can open and edit in any text editor, even Notepad on Windows or TextEdit on a Mac. Nothing to export or import. You just open, edit and save. Code editors are text editors which are designed to work with code and they make it easier to edit. Dreamweaver is a code editor with a few more features.

So the simple answer to your question is yes.

Which software are you planning on using?
