Just installed AE on my new Mac and got this warning: 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - Apple Support

"Why am I seeing this alert?

Starting with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4, apps that have not been updated to use 64-bit processes produce a one-time alert when opened. This gives users advance notice that they are running 32-bit software, which will not be compatible with macOS in the future."

Will this app be optimized for 64-bit compatibility soon?

Move to an older operating system?

Crapple doesn't let you do that?

Switch to a PC with Windows 7?

How do we get in touch with the development teams for Adobe to make sure this is updated?

32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208436

If they don't fix this soon it will no longer work on MacOS

I honest-to-God do not know what you and the OP are talking about.  AE has been a 64-bit application since CS5... which is about 8 years old now.

It would seem you have other issues.

Dave is right.  It's also baffling how this thread got bumped to the top?  The last comment was back in July yet somehow yesterday it appeared at the top of the stack? Also ALSO baffling is why they're complaining to Adobe.  The issue they're describing would clearly be with MacOS, not After Effects.   I say: If it walks like a duck & talks like a duck, it's probably a duck.

I am having the same issue with InDesign and other Adobe products.
I am using CS6 as I am not a business and cannot afford the extortionate cost of renting for ever from the Adobe Cloud.
Is there anything I can do as if I go to Adobe to ask they will just tell me I need to upgrade to the Cloud?
Thanks
Karen
