Version 12.1.1 still fails to launch normally, you get the The Application Was Unable To Start Correctly(0xc0000005) error.
Dell E6420 laptop; Win7 Enterprise 6.1.7601
Latest NVIDEA drivers instralled.
However, launching with the right-click option "Run with graphics processor - internal graphics": rather than the high performance NVIDEA option DOES work
Unfortunately we are still looking into this issue and the fix today does not fix this one.
Disabling or running application with Intel Graphics is only workaround as of now.
Its good news that you've solved the issue with the png. Unfortunately have no way of enjoying this since my application still won't launch. I´m stuck in an endless loop with AAM and Premiere Pro crashing as described above.
Any chance that what you are chasing will also address the crash in Premier Pro CC? I went to launch today and it crashed. Luckily my co-worker isn't as up-to-date as I am and we were able to get the job done using his version (which hasn't been updated).
This is the dump I get:
